João Nuno was born in Africa but spent many years between Europe and South America. Although his heart belongs to these three continents, he lives in Lisbon, Portugal. Father. Husband. Amateur photographer. Film director. He loves telling stories through the lens of a camera. Additionally, he also loves creating and building things.
He has already told stories for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Mitsubishi, Honda, Telefonica, Santander, Gallo and BTG. He also directed the Portuguese crime series Causa Própria and the feature films América and Mosquito—the latter winning the Critics' Award for Best International Film at the São Paulo International Film Festival. His portfolio includes several award-winning works in festivals such as the London International Advertising and Design Awards and El Ojo de Iberoamérica.
